Plant-Based Protein

A common question I frequently get asked as a vegan is, "Where do you get your protein from?" - Now, it is true that plants have protein, and you can get more than enough protein by eating a whole foods plant-based diet. My personal favorite way to enjoy SUNWARRIOR'S illumin8 plant-based powder is in a smoothie. I personally enjoy the Vanilla Bean flavor, it isn't too sweet with just a hint of cinnamon, and is super easy to make. Check out my recipe below for my favorite way to devour illumin8!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 scoop of illumin8 Vanilla Bean
  • 6-8 pieces of frozen mango
  • 1 tsp. of cardamon
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Enjoy!
